Is what Steve Chalke says here correct? I agree with a lot of what he says, but look carefully at paragraph 8. Do you have to consciously acknowledge Jesus is Lord and Saviour to be saved?

Good point - he's saying that someone who's never heard of Christ but lived a 'good life' could be saved by Christ without ever acknowledging Jesus work on the cross.
That's simply a load of rubbish.
This is an increasingly common view in "mainstream" Christianity. It is subtle because it retains the idea that everyone has to be saved through Christ, and talks about grace.
I think we need to say more than it's wrong though. We need to be able to refute this biblically.
